Spring break but the mission OBVIOUSLY doesn’t stop. SaucedPHL went full Florida takeover in Naples for a girls trip, and a vodka sauce case study, and Tulia Italian Steak was the dinner. Reservations locked, outfits planned, expectations high. It had that perfect mix of elevated and fun. We sat outside under dreamy lights on the main strip. This was the kind of place that already feels like a night before the food even hits the table. We walked in and immediately knew we made the right choice. Inside was packed, dim lighting, just enough noise, and that upscale but not stuffy vibe. Old school vibes. We sat down, got comfortable, and I was already set on the order. No overthinking: rigatoni vodka, obviously.
The Dish
This wasn’t just a good dish, it was a full moment built into the plate. I’m honestly not over it. When it came out, it already looked unreal. Perfectly coated rigatoni, rich, glossy sauce, the kind of presentation that makes you pause for a second. Garnished perfectly. But then they took it to another level. Our server walks over with this massive cheese grater and starts freshly grating cheese over the entire dish right in front of us. Fully tableside, fully dramatic, and yes, he literally told me to take a video. Which I did. You can see it on the SaucedPHL Instagram because there was no way that wasn’t getting posted. And the thing is, it wasn’t just for show. The fresh cheese melted right into the sauce, making it even richer and more layered with every bite. Like OMG. The sauce itself was insane. Not too creamy, deep, rich and super flavorful without crossing into too heavy. It had that perfect balance where it feels indulgent but still clean enough to keep going. Every bite hit the same, no drop-off, no bland moments. The pasta was cooked perfectly, holding onto the sauce exactly how you want. Nothing slipping off, nothing dry—just consistent, coated bites the entire way through. It felt intentional, like every detail was thought through. All four of us split this dish and I felt like I was fighting people off with my fork to get the biggest portion.
The Verdict
Tulia Italian Steak delivered in every way. It took a classic and made it feel elevated, fun, and actually memorable. This is where you go when you want dinner to feel like something more. This is where when booking a trip to Naples, you are making sure you get a reservation there one night. I would go back with zero hesitation. I would book a flight to Naples JUST for this food. Florida takeover: 10/10. Case Closed.
